Offset tanning of both end pages, and foxing to both end pages, both fold over flap's, and very faintly to the top edge of the text block. The top edge of the dustwrapper is slightly rubbed especially at the spine, as is the bottom edge, and the spine section of the dust jacket appears darkened from exposure to light. Set in the South Africa of 1830, the settlers, Boers trekked with their wagons, their families and livestock, some for religious freedom, others to escape British rule in crashing taxes, many more for the love of new frontiers. Awaiting them was Mzilikazi king of the Matabele nation.
