Internally without inscriptions or other marks. Slight spine lean.255 x 195 mm (10 x 7¾ inches). A substantial work, which includes over 200 line drawings, 96 monochrome photographs, maps, appendix, list of abbreviations and a good sized index. Dr. Anne Ross has wide experience of living in Celtic-speaking communities where she has traced vernacular tradition. Using archaeological and anthropoligical evidence, as well as folklore, Dr. Ross provides broad insight into the early Celtic world.
