About This Item
New York: D. Appleton and Company, 1924. Hardcover. x, 62p., first American edition in insubstantial black boards backed in paper vellum with printed spine and cover labels. Edgeworn showing some cardstock, dampstaining has left squiggly lines to both covers and faint ripple to top & bottom edges, the uncut signatures have been opened unskillfully. Item is sufficiently good to be "a good reading copy". Greene is even this early in life worrying about heaven vs. girls.
