Olive colored cloth over boards, gilt lettering to spine and cover. Book Condition: Very Good+, bottom tip quashed right and proper, a little dusty all over. Dust Jacket Condition: Near fine; sticker ghost front and center on matte jacket, faint and not touching any lettering or features of the scenery in this lovely wrap around watercolor jacket. Very small bit of wear to extremities. A sharp copy all round. From the library of Stuart Schimmel as confirmed by the presence of his personal bookplate. The bookplate on the front pastedown of this copy is from the extraordinary library of the late Stuart B. Schimmel, reknowned collector and scholar. After Schimmel's recent passing, Bonham's auctioned his definitive collection of forgeries; his collection of "The Book Arts, Comprising Private Press Books, Fine Bindings, Autograph Letters and Calligraphy" was sold in 1991 (Christies).
