London, England: Staples Press, 1948. Third Impression . Hardcover. Good/Fair to Good. 168 pages, including an index. Much black & white illustration, some color. There is the beginnings of some brown spotting at the top of the pages as well as discoloration of the cover at the top. The cloth cover of the book is light green, which shows wear, with black lettering on the spine. No apparent underlining, no highlighting, no bookplates, no owner names, not ex-libris, no remainder marks, no folded or dogeared pages, no smudges. There is wear at the head & tail of the spine plus at corners. There is age toning on the ffep opposite the half title page and on the last page in the book opposite the last index page. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality Brodart cover. Dj has a piece mising at the top of the front cover next to the head of the spine. Wear along the spine and at corners and edges of the dj. A serviceable copy; available for immediate shipment, carefully packed!
