About This Item
New York: The Literary Guild of America, 1930. Hardcover. 8vo. Tan cloth with brown lettering and brown/red pictorial front board stamping. 308pp. Frontispiece, plates, map endpapers. Very good. Not the Macaulay Company's original edition, but a tight and attractive reprint edition of this classic described by Adams as "short histories of the Harpes, the Murrells, Joseph Hare, and Samuel Mason, the land pirates of the Mississippi." map embossed on the front board is unusual and rather striking. SIX GUNS 447.
