Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Some cracking to gutters in places; slightly uneven text block. Previous owner's inscription and stamps to endpapers and pastedowns. Boards have heavy edge wear, with some bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are crushed and frayed. Joints worn too with untidy splits. Slightly scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Gilt is bright. Book has a moderate forward lean.
