Longmans, Green and Co., 1893. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1893. No Edition Remarks. 411 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Green cloth with gilt decoration. Contains colour plates and black and white in text illustrations. Library copy, with expected inserts and inscriptions. Pages have mild tanning and foxing throughout, moderate at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Plates are moderately tanned with some foxing. Messy remains of library plate to front paste down with some loss. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding is shaky. Cracking to hinges, no damage to end papers. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate crushing to spine ends, with splitting, fraying and loss to the head, tail and joints. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate tanning to spine.
