Good. 756 p., clean and unmarked on strong paper mildly age-toned; text block firm, but front board is detached from badly abraded spine panel; frontis engraving with tissue guard and many other ill.; front and rear leather boards are beautifully embossed with raised lettering in gilt or on gilt patches, edges scuffed and corner bumped. This volume deserves skillful repair.
