Boston, Mass: Williams Book Store, 1944. Neat name/address stamp to title page and inside front board. No other marks or inscriptions. No creasing to covers or to spine. A very clean very tight copy with unmarked navy cloth boards, clear gilt lettering on front, slight loss to gilt lettering on spine with slight rubbing to ends, small bump to top of front board and no bumping to corners. 412pp. Begins with a treatise advocating the personal possession of guns and rifles. Then descibes 100s of rifles with their images and technical details from the flint lock to carbines used against us. Also covers present manufacture and manufacturers, rifleman and much more. Actual colour darker navy than image. Very scarce in the UK.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8.5 x 5.75 inches.
