London: Adam & Charles Black, 1892. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. FIRST PRINTING of First UK Edition. Original dark green cloth with gilt lettering and rules cover and spine. The book measures 200mm tall x 138mm, and has 366 pages, b/w frontis photo + 3 b/w plates, 1 b/w photo in the text. The book has some general wear to covers (not bad, see photo), bright gilt on front and spine, no previouw owner marks or writing on any pages, minor foxing to first three pages and last page (no other foxing), tight binding, thin cracking at the EPs but quite tight and not broken (the cracks are not open, just seams). PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
