UK: Partridge No date, but 'new edition' stated, and award sticker for Forebridge Academy, Stafford to front pastedown is dated 1890 (attractive emblem for the same academy in gilt and black to rear cover); illustration in black green red and brown to front cover showing a dog with a can hanging from its mouth waiting outside a gate with the sign 'Milk and cream sold here' above it; brown cloth with some wear and rubbing, bevelled edges, spine is mottled with wear to top and bottom and dulled gilt lettering, dust and browning to edges, browning to endpapers, some cracking to hinges, strain to stitching but binding holds, internally predominantly good with engravings after Harrison Weir and Landseer.. Hardcover. Good.
