Stipple etching of Othello looking over Desdemona while she sleeps. Originally from "A Collection of Prints, from pictures painted for the purpose of illustrating the dramatic works of Shakespeare, by the artists of Great Britain," 1803 published by Boydell. Hinge matted to white mat board. Light foxing to print, otherwise paper is bright and clean. Closed tear to bottom left edge of print, although not effecting any printed material. Mat: 23.5 x 29.5 inches; Window: 17 x 23 inches; Print: 20.25 x 26.75 inches.
