About This Item
Paris; Nd(ca.1915): Privately Printed. Limited Edition. Octavo. Limited to 999 copies. The present copy is number 7. Mostly unopened. In two volumes, continuous pagination, 432 pages. The original edition was published in 1912 in London but Wilde's case which became more widely discussed because of his open homosexual lifestyle that associated not only with Lord Douglas but also of the lower-class types which raised the stakes for the prosecutors. Bound in maroon cloth, paper spine labels lettered in black, spine ends warn, inner hinges weakened and appear to have been reglued. A good set.
