New York: Hunter College, November 4, 1960. First Edition. Original poster featuring a charming self-portrait drawing by Elsa Lanchester. Printed in reds, blue, and black on white paper. Measures 13 inches wide by 22 inches long. Lanchester’s show was highly acclaimed in which she sang songs and acted scenes. The show was directed by her husband, actor Charles Laughton. Lanchester was the gifted actress of stage and screen best known today for her brilliant iconic portrayal in the lead role in the classic film The Bride of Frankenstein as well as appearing in classic films as The Private Life of Henry VIII, Rembrandt, The Ghost Goes West, The Razor's Edge, The Spiral Staircase, Lassie Come Home, The Bishop's Wife, Witness for the Prosecution, Murder By Death. A very charming poster.
