Dark blue cloth is slightly worn and scuffed on rear board; minor dampstain at the very bottom corner of some internal pages (mostly evident on the glossy pages), otherwise tight and clean internally. Includes 79 plates (a few in color), 7 maps, and an index; 303 pages. "E. Weyhe" in gilt at foot of spine instead of publisher's name. Inscribed by the author on the front endpaper.
