[St. Paul, MN & Seattle, WA: Great Northern Railway, General Immigration Agent, Feb. 1, 1914]. 4to. 8.5 x 11.5 in. 32 pp. With photo illustrations, 1 Great Northern Railway route map, colour map of Oregon, dated 1910. Colour-illustrated softcovers, front cover art landscape photo w/ GN Railway logo w/ “See America First” National Park Route logo (minor rubbing, edgewear, slight creasing & bumping head of spine), still VG. First editions, thus, of these land promotion advertisement brochures detailing the agricultural and farming opportunities of the lands along the route of the Great Northern Railway in Oregon just prior to World War I. This details the livestock and dairying possibilities, fruit orchards, homesteading in Eastern Oregon, county-by-county assessments, and more. Edwin C. Leedy (1872-1939) was a very successful land promoter and agricultural agent for the Great Northern until he retired due to ill health in Montana, 1939. No copies in Worldcat.
