A Special first Edition/First Printing signed by author John Sherlock on the front flyleaf, volume in Fine condition in a liek dust-jacket each of which is barely shelfworn; This book follows the journey of Major Grigsby, a British soldier who is taken prisoner by the Germans during World War II. Despite being tortured, Grigsby refuses to divulge any information about British troop movements, and eventually finds himself in the infamous Stalag Luft III concentration camp. There, he is forced to endure the horrors of the camp, including starvation, disease, and the brutal treatment of the guards. In the end, Grigsby is able to escape the camp and return to his family.; 8vo; 284 pages; Signed by Author .
