Amstelaedami (Amsterdam): Henricum Wetstenium, 1688. 2nd Edition. Very Good-. Bound in full vellum over boards. Front and back contain double rule borders with stamps in the four corners and amoral plate in the center, all gilded (some gilding faded or rubbed). Spine contains five cells with gilded stampsinside each and manuscript title in ink in top cell. General wear, rubbing, discoloration and edgewear, but all holding firmly. Front cover slightly warped. Engraved title page preceeds text title page in red and black ink with device. Interior is remarkably clean and clear for age. Armoral plate depicts a shield with 3 x's with two lions holding a crown.
