First Edition. --'Opium Addiction...from the Narcotic Wards of Philadelphia'-- Presentation copy signed by Dr. Arthur B. Light. Not a reprint, scarce thus. Publisher's crimson gilt-lettered cloth, 116pp., tables, charts, several b/w photos. Early 20th century medical accounts of opium addiction-- (10) articles describe results of in-patient experiments with volunteer addicts. Very nice condition-- clean, tight & sound. .
