Book Condition: Good+; glue browning to endpapers; bumping to head, tail, and tips; shelfwear to head, tail, tips and board bottom edges; rubbing and scuffing to boards. No DJ. Blue cloth boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine and front board. 323 pp 4to. This book was the basis of most optometrist's business in the 1940s and 1950s as they had to be very proficient in the manufacture and understanding of ophthalmic optics. The book covers lens types and materials, aspects of prism, neutralization, benchwork, frame fitting, neutralization, and frame adjustments. A clean very presentable copy.
