Second book: original cloth with gilt stamped title to spine and to cover. Both books uncut and with bookmark ribbon. Outside slightly worn with some staining, second book with some rubbing to edges. Paper inside without any lack. Body of first book minimally warped. According to its age still in good condition. With several illustrations, among them: Sustermans "Galileo Galilei"; frontespizio di Stefano Della Bella Ai "Massimi Sistemi", "Ritratto Secentesco di Galileo", illustrations of Galileos handwriting etc. and several sketches.
