Small 4to, 39 pp., numerous color and b&w plates, catalog of 183 items, primarily sketches of stage designs. Essay by Robert L. B. Tobin. Heel of spine bumped; wrappers lightly handled, shelfworn, with a touch of dustsoiling at rear; small smudge on copyright page. The distinguished Met and Santa Fe Opera mezzo Helen Vanni's copy, inscribed by Tobin "To Helen & Mario" at the end of his essay and signed "Robert." A printed exhibit invitation addressed to the Vannis, folded once, is laid in.
