About This Item
Salt Lake City, UT: Printed at the Book Arts Studio, J. Williard Marriott Library, University of Utah, 2003. Signed limited edition. Paperback. [10pp.] Octavo [23 cm] Sewn white wrapper in matching envelope. Title printed on cover and envelope. Fine. The author has signed the book on the cover in pencil. Signed by the binder on the limitation page. This is the handmade and stitched letterpress edition of this title to commemorate the author's commencement speech at the University of Utah in 2003. Not to be confused with the subsequently issued trade edition of the same title. Ms. William's speech sent off a flurry of protest amongst many conservative Republican Mormons in Utah, including Utah senators Bob Bennett and Orrin Hatch who were in the audience. Uncommon item from the environmental activist and best-selling author.
