New York: Henry Holt and Company, 1944. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Fair. First edition, first printing. Near Fine, with foxing and toning to cloth at top edge, pages toned, lightly foxed at textblock edge, previous owner name to front free endpaper, and with small, light staining to one page. In a Fair dust jacket with publisher's price intact; spine toned, long tears/splits to joints at rear flap and read spine, repaired from verso with tape and mending tissue and resulting in heavy creasing to the rear panel. The jacket presents decently despite some major flaws.
