Sturdy book, black cloth spine and sides, purple cloth boards, bright bronze lettering and design on spine, black color inside covers and adjacent end papers, 75 photographs and drawings throughout. DJ glossy with red-titnted statue illustration with black background, orange spine, red back with praise from Louis Auchinloss and others. DJ has very slight wear to front tips, lighter surface wear to back tips, nick with very slight wear at top front spine indentation, very thin chip across spine top edge, jagged 1.5" tear with slight wear at top back edge near spine, light crease too. Fair DJ/Very Fine book.
