A fine large portrait of the great inventor and one of the last formal portraits of Edison before his death. Inscribed in pencil on verso "This is about the last picture of Mr. Edison taken at his famous laboratory, West Orange, N.J. 1930." A beautiful closeup headshot on cream colored double weight matte paper. Some silvering around the edges and a minor diagonal corner separation in lower right as seen in image 2.
