New York, New Yiork: Alfred A. Knopf, 1947. Hardcover. Very Good/Poor. Mattson, George and Patritia. 239 pages, volume has brown cloth covers with gilt lettering on the spine. There is wear at the head and tail of the spine and edge and corner wear. The top of the pages are dyed brown and the pages opposite the spine are deckled. All that is left of the dust jacket is the front page, torn and tattered, with the inside dust flap and the rear dust flap. The setting of this book is an actual marsh in the stunning valley of the Tetons, and every creature mentioned, every plant, can be een by anyone visiting Jackson, Wyoming. George and Patritia Mattson have illustrated the volume with nine full-page pictures, nine tailpieces and five headpieces. A serviceable copy, available for immediate shipment.
