Three volumes in blue cloth with gilt lettering to to the spine in very good fine blue cloth slipcase with gilt lettering. Color illustrated endpapers, photographs, appendix, index. The covers and slipcase are lightly shelfworn and faded. "For the past several years I have been collecting and dictating material for my Memoirs. It has proven a more complicated task than I first imagined. The many duties incumbent upon a Member of Parliament, to say nothing of three intervening general elections since I ceased to be Leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada, often had to take precedence over this work" - from the Preface.
