George Bell and Sons, London, 1885. Edition Unstated. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Good Condition. Preface to the translation, chronologic abstract and five appendices. The sections at the beginning and at the end of the book had been printed on a yellow coloured stop. Dark blue coloured cloth covered boards with self embossed decoration to the panels with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Title says it all. The book is in good order for it's age  please see photograph. Softening and some marks to the back strip with fading also present. A little bumping and rubbing of the book corners and lower book edges. The covers shows stains and a few marks. Light tanning and some foxing of the text block edges with light tanning of the pages. Offset tanning to the end pages a previous owner has made some marginalia and underlining of the text  please see photograph. A previous owner has placed their name to the top edge of the free front end page. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [20  including 15 pages of further titles and publishing house  including the front and pages] II - XIX, [1], 21 - 312 good afternoon, [31  including end pages comprising a Complete Catalogue of Bohn's Libraries] pages..
