Second impression of this children's tale by Golden Gorse and Lionel Edwards, enclosed in its scarce dust wrapper. First edition, second impression of this children's tale, following the adventures of Mousie the Exmoor Pony. Written by Muriel Wace under pseudonym Golden Gorse. Illustrated with plates drawn by Lionel Edwards. Complete with its vanishingly scarce, unclipped dust wrapper. In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding over paper covered boards. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only. Upper corner front free endpaper was excised. Dust wrapper unclipped and smart with minor shelf wear only, lightly sunned to spine. Internally, firmly bound. Few minor spots to fore edge, not affecting pages that remain bright and clean. Near Fine
