The Bowen-Merrill Co, 1888. Hardcover. Good. 50p, in black cloth printed with red designs that are faintly reminiscent of Chinese characters, with a strip of blue cloth along hte fore-edge of the front board. Blue cloth is stamped in gold. The black cloth has faded to gray. Cloth has frayed a little at either end of spine. Corners are bumped. Name on ffep. Foxing to front matter, most especially the frontispiece and its tissue overlay. Main pages are yellowed, but unfoxed. The binding feels sound, although a little weak due its age. Sixth Edition. Size: 16mo - over 5 3/4 in - 6 3/4 in Tall. Year: 1888.
