Frontispiece and adjoining page with facsimile letter from Dickens to Charles Kent loose and laid in, with edge chips and nicks, spine titles faded, front cover gilt bright, corners bumped, light edge wear to boards, interior age toned, clean, hinges and binding secure. Contents include Capital Punishment, Crime and Education, An American in Europe, Amusements of the People, Friend of the Lion, many others. Publishers ads at back.
