Marder's final work, he having died just as the volume went to press, and having been co-authored by Mark Jacobsen and John Horsfield. Sturdy, attractive, tightly bound in hardcover format, black cloth over boards, two spots of slight discoloration, sharp and distinct gilt lettering and publisher device to spine, generally clean, previous owner's penned inscription at first free endpaper, minimal rubbing to extremities, slight bruising to tips, bright, unmarked of interior. Volume II only of a two-volume set. Volume contains scholarly apparatus in the form of, e.g., notes, index, and bibliography. xxx [1], 3-621 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
