Octavo,second edition, pp. xxvi, 445, halftones, large folding map in rear pocket, blue cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and front. Part of the American Guide Series created by the Works Progress Administration during the Depression to give work to unemployed writers and photographers. Condition of this book: Very good with a few marks to covers. Jacket is sunned at spine with chipped edges, internally reinforced at spine ends by binder's tape. Map fine. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact.
