Love, Dad -- William Ashworth." The recipients, his adopted daughter and her husband, are thanked at length in the acknowledgments, and Scott took the author photograph on the back flap. William Ashworth is an environmental activist and the author of thirteen books on natural resources and environmental politics, including *The Wallowas: Coming of Age in the Wilderness,* *Nor Any Drop to Drink,* and *The Late, Great Lakes.* He is the winner of an Oregon Book Award among other honors. A fine book apart from a light small stain to top face of the text block and light bumping to spine ends; near fine. In a very near fine jacket.
