Hardback, 1878, Paris, with illustrations, 424 pages.
Marbled paper on card boards and quarter red leather binding with raised bands and gilt detail and lettering. Marks, dents and scuffs to boards and spine, edge-wear and some chipping to leather. Partial cracks to outer hinges but inner hinges intact and binding firm. Corners bumped and a little torn. Binding reasonably firm though strained in the off place and front and rear inner hinges are cracked. Page edges speckled and a bit browned. Patterned endpapers. Some foxing and a little tanning to pages but otherwise quite clean, ono underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
