A good set of the two volumes in matching contemporary calf, gilt decoration to spines, these show some rubbing particularly Volume 2. Vol I with two colour title page with engraved city view, engraved frontispiece, 358pp. Vol II, Two colour title pages, 2 engraved frontispieces and a fold-out plate of the planets.140pp. + 159pp. Both volumes have early ink notes to rear endpapers relating to the volumes. Also both volumes bear the bookplate of "Fintray House Library". Fintray house is in Aberdeenshire and was home to the Forbes-Semptill family..
