Grant Richards Limited, 1916. 1st Edition. Softcover. VG. 1st Separate Edition. 15.2 x 21 cm paper wraps with yapped edges, unpaginated [48]with decorative capital letters and 4 illustrations by Albert Buhrer. Toning to the wraps with rubbing to the spine tips, corners and edges. Minor loss to the spine tips of up to 3mm, a little creasing to the corners and yapped edges. There is a 2 cm split to the top joint of the front wrap and 0.5 cm on the top edge of the front cover. Internally, there is a stamped ownership name to the first page but otherwise the pages are clean. The book is now protected in a rigid, clear, removable cover. A lovely copy.
