VG in Near VG (clipped) dw. 8vo, vi+282pp (plus 8pp publisher's catalogue dated "835" bound in back), light blue cloth with spine lettering stamped in dark blue, printed dustwrapper. First edition (with second state of ads) of this important novel by Utopian science fiction writer and mystic Olaf Stapledon. Includes the hypnoid and iconic dustwrapper (which has the lower 2" of front flap clipped, and signs of old paper reinforcement to the back. Book is unmarked copy, with tearing to back hinge (still firm) and light spotting to page edges.
