Very good, 1st edition, uclipped d/j (fair, some chipping and bumping, not intact, in protective sleeve); green boards, blue on white panel spine titling; text block firm, untrimmed and uncut pages, unmarked with some sunning.. 12mo (190 x 130 / 7_"" x 5""). Bridges had become Poet Laureate in 1913 and inevitably the First World War preoccupied much of his writing subsequently. He, along with several other writers, worked at the War Propaganda Bureau in Wellington House.
