"The Fourth Book of Occult Philosophy, by Henry Cornelius Agrippa and unnamed others, is considered one of the cornerstones of Western magic, and the grimoires it contains are among the most important that exist in the Western tradition." In the FINEST condition, I have ever owned.
This book is a milestone in Western magical practice. Often erroneously called a forgery, it is in fact six separate books in one, the first two being by Agrippa (1486-1535). One of them, Of Magical Ceremonies, is Agrippa's clearest step-by-step formulation of how to perform an evocation, much more openly expressed than in his Three Books of Occult Philosophy. In addition there is the key grimoire, Of the Magick of the Ancients by Arbatel, which clearly defines the different types of magic, focusing on the invocation of angels and of the Olympic spirits.
Henry Cornelius Agrippa's Fourth Book of Occult Philosophy and Geomancy
Magical Elements of Peter de Abano. Astronomical Geomancy
Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa von Nettesheim (/əˈɡrɪpə/; German: [aˈgʀɪpa]; 14 September 1486 – 18 February 1535) was a German polymath, physician, legal scholar, soldier, theologian, and occult writer. Agrippa's Three Books of Occult Philosophy, published in 1533, drew heavily upon Kabbalah, Hermeticism, and neo-Platonism. His book was widely influential among occultists
Overall for a book that is now 37 years old, it has been very well kept. Includes the original dust jacket, and everything is in very good condition.
