HARDCOVER, bound in handsome contemporary mottled full calf, spine with 5 raised bands, 4 gilt tooled or lettered compartments, head- and foot compartments left untreated, red sprinkled edges; contemporary printed thin ownership label at foot of title-page with first letter devoured by silverfish; one page with old small brown ink smudges not obscuring text, few sporadic spots.
