About This Item

Ann Arbor, MI: University Of Michigan Press. Near Fine in Near Fine dust jacket. 1990. First Edition (1990); First Printing indicated by a complete numerical . sequence; First Printing. Hardcover. First Edition (1990) ; First Printing indicated by a complete numerical sequence. Near Fine in Near Fine DJ: Both book and DJ show only minute indications of use. The Book shows two tiny coffee-like spots at the bottom edge of the text block; a small, very faint smudge at the fore-edge; a former owner's gift inscription at the dedication page; a hint of crimping at the heel of the backstrip; the binding is square and secure; the text is clean. A handsome, nearly-new copy, structurally sound and tighly bound, showing only a couple of very minor flaws and a short inscription. Very close to 'As New'. The DJ shows the faintest sunning to the cream-toned background field of the backstrip and along the hingles and the top of the rear panel; a crease at the upper corner of the inside front flap; a touch of a crease at the heel of the backstrip; unclipped. Overall, very close to 'As New'. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. (9.3 x 6.5 x 1.05 inches) . Language: English. Weight: 1 pound, 8 ounces. Hardback with DJ. ; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; xii, 348 pages .
