Glasgow: Joannes M. Duncan, 1824. Full-Leather. Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Original full leather binding, the rear cover is detached, the front cover is a bit loosened but secure. Gilt spine rubbed and faded. Tidy and bright internally, small minor hole on 529/530 affecting a couple of letters only, otherwise the text is complete, the frontispiece of Schleusner with some foxing, some toning and a few marks on the title. Bookplate of the Seminary of St. John's on the endpaper, 1820's name on the endpaper of Henry W. Sulivan, and an ex-libris label of the Reverend George Newton. Pages; (2), X, (2), 1154. Heavy 3.18kgs unpacked.
