In the publisher's original cloth bindings, with gilt detailing to spines. Externally, fine, with just a touch of fading of the gilt to the tail of volumes X and XIV, and a small area of rubbing towards the head of volume V back strip. Front hinge of volume I lightly strained, and the head of the rear hinge of volume II lightly strained. Rear hinges of volumes VIII, IX, XIX, and XXI strained and a touch tender. Inscription to front free endpaper of volumes XIV, XXI and XXIII. Internally, firmly bound. Pages exceptionally clean and bright. Near Fine
