Brick red illustrated cloth with illustrated spines CONDITION: VERY GOOD, lower rear spine corner of Tom Jones is moderately bumped and bruised otherwise an excellent near new set, near fine condition in fine slipcase NOTES - Volume I: Tom Jones, monochrome frontispiece, illustrated with numerous wood engraved vignettes by Derrick Harris, xix+697pp. Volume II: Jonathan Wild, monochrome frontispiece, illustrated with numerous wood engraved vignettes by Frank Martin, 187pp. Volume III: Joseph Andrews, monochrome frontispiece, illustrated with numerous wood engraved vignettes by Derrick Harris, xviii+304pp. Volume IV: Amelia, monochrome frontispiece, illustrated with numerous wood engraved vignettes by Simon Brett. All bound in uniform brick red cloth with spines and front designed by the respective artists.
