Jonathan Cape, 1936. Hardcover. Good. 1936. Second Impression. 252 pages. No dust jacket. Yellow cloth covered boards. Pages remain bright and clean with minimal tanning and foxing. Binding remains firm. A previous owner's name to front free endpaper. Minor pencil inscription to rear free endpaper. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing and fraying to spine ends. All surfaces heavily tanned, particularly spine. Some additional marks and staining to surfaces. Book has slight forward lean.
