Very well done, you have to look to see it. Paper spine label chipped. Contains the 2 folding lithographed maps: "Map of the Territory of New Mexico" and "Sketch of part of the march & wagon road of Lt. Colonel COOKE, from Sante Fe to the Pacific Ocean, 1846-7", 3 full-page lithographed plans (somewhat toned). 62 lithographed plates, scattered in-text illustrations (some offsetting). Light to moderate foxing throughout. .
