London: Clothworkers' Company, 1949. Rare 10-page booklet on the history and customs of the Clothworkers' Company bound in maroon boards with gilt lettering and coat of arms, September 1949. Inserted is a Christmas card for 1949 from the 'Master, Wardens and Court', four pages tied with ribbon in a card cover. There are two tinted illustrations showing 'Teaseling' and 'Shearing' in the 18th Century with the appropriate tools depicted beneath. The final page gives some historical details.. Hardcover. Good.
